Nintendo Shares New Switch Games from Other Studios
On 31 July 2025, Nintendo held a new Partner Showcase. This event lasted 25 minutes and showed games made by other companies, not Nintendo itself. These games are coming to the current Switch and the new Switch 2. Some of the games include 'Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition', 'Final Fantasy VII Remake', 'Persona 3 Reload', and 'Hades 2'.
Many fans were excited because these games are popular on other platforms like PlayStation. Now, they will be available on a Nintendo system too. However, there was no news about games made by Nintendo, such as 'Metroid Prime 4' or 'Kirby Air Riders'. Some people were disappointed, but they hope those games will appear in a future event.
This Showcase also showed that Nintendo wants to work with more game studios. In the past, some developers had to wait for Switch 2 tools, but now they are ready. By supporting many types of games, Nintendo can make the Switch 2 more interesting for more players around the world.
