Fleetwood Eyes First PGA Tour Victory at Travelers Championship
Tommy Fleetwood enters the final round of the Travelers Championship with a three-stroke lead as he chases his long-awaited first PGA Tour win.
The English golfer shot a dazzling 63 on Saturday, highlighted by five birdies and a second consecutive eagle on the par-5 13th hole.
Although he has earned over $25 million on tour and finished in the top 10 more than 40 times, Fleetwood has yet to secure a PGA title.
“I’m top of a lot of stat lines,” he joked after his round. “Just not the one that matters most.”
Close behind are Russell Henley and Keegan Bradley at 13 under par.
Henley shot a bogey-free 61, and Bradley, last year’s winner, matched Fleetwood’s 63 to stay in contention.
The Travelers is one of the PGA Tour’s signature events. It is known for low scores and a fan-friendly layout at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut.
Sunday’s final round will test the leaders’ composure, with storms and humidity expected.
Coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET on CBS, and streaming is available across major platforms.
If Fleetwood can hold his nerve, the day may mark the end of one of golf’s most surprising winless streaks.
